He's boring. His fighting style isnt unique. His design....isnt the most pleasing. He has the personality of a wooden box. Etc...

I disagree, he's the absolute definition of loyalty and badassery, if it weren't for Jinbe, Luffy would still be crying his ass off in Saobody

Sure in real life those are nice qualities. But when I look at fiction...those qualities arent the most enticing qualities a character can have. Nor are they an incentive for me to like them.
