I was thinking of macro dying at some point but gets reborn. But probably won't happen. This was a topic discussed especially regarding his DF, i.e. from the start the Phonenix DF has always been in one person's possession and that person just gets reborn. So macro is like the xth reincarnation of the original guy who ate the DF. Could have used this concept for a much important character, but Marco doesn't seem like one.
