About Usopp I'm just gonna say it is sometimes easier to sacrifice yourself than sacrifice someone you love (straw hats love themselves like a family) , also he dragged Nami into the fight so he feels even more responsible. He knows Nami has faith in Luffy and he likely think his friend life is more important than a lie on Luffy's dream that he knows Nami doesn't believe. So you want to talk, ok I give you other chance. Explane me why you want keep weak SH? I mean, ok I understand why Chopper...ok I'm joking. But for real didn't you read OP before time skip? Chopper was equel to Monster 3, maybe even stronger in some way, Nami beat Kalifa, and was able to made fall Orz with her lightening. After time skip Oda made a lot of gags with SH...it was ok, that someone is not that strong, but that "ok" changed when we get to last arcs. SH logically has no chances to deal with strong characters. But Oda made em deal with em with most absurd and most illogical way. And that was always problem for me. So if question is, if I'm feeling alright with weak characters going farther in the story like that? My answer will be, no sir. So for me better huge power up than weak character going farther. But what about you? Or like Zoro fans who wants Zoro, who defeated low veteran lvl character kill Younko?! Like it's arguebly that Zoro even could deal with calamity...Younko case this is absurd, but people praying on it. That is what I call in people hypocrate. For Usopp and Nami beating Ulti and P1 is much easier thing than for Zoro defeat Younko.
