I don't see how this is more speculative than claiming that these circumstances Oda took the time to draw in this exact manner, are actually irrelevant.

You just made a speculation regarding Zoro and Drake, but in regards to Zoro I do agree he was trying more in that panel, again Apoo was able to block his CoA strike as well, but I will agree with you regarding that fact.

What is shown In My Opinion is that Apoo saw it coming and could do nothing about it because he is far Inferior to Zoro.

Does Zoro's words finally convince you on the Kaido>Mihawk matter ?

I need toi guys' opinion on this.

Zoro is probably basing his statement off of his knowledge and understanding Kaido and Mihawk.

So the question is, if during his fight with Mihawk, Zoro says "I had no idea how strong you truly are" or something similar will people go back people go back and then change their opinion? What I think that Oda lies to them.

I must understand the statements from Killer and Zoro are typically based off of their own knowledge and understanding. So they may not be fact.

It was definitely Zoro's fault but I don't agree with people that use that to downplay Zoro and uplift Killer like it wasn't a surprise attack. Never would've happened if Gyukimaru weren't there. Zoro admits it and takes all the blame but we still can't ignore the fact that Killer took advantage of the opening Gyukimaru gave him.

Apoo earlier was able to dodge but this is Zoro using what looks like shishishi sonson or another version of it. No way he's dodging it while Drake is keeping him occupied. Zoro's too fast for that. I don't expect Apoo to get up right now though. Zoro has insane AP so he'll be down for a while.

He blocked his CoA attack in 995, but in my opinion Apoo could not dodge the attack because at the end of the day Zoro was and is far superior to him.

It was definitely not a sneak attack by any means

Well considering that he’s a mythical zoan. The whole “base” “full zoan form” etc categorizations shouldn’t be as strictly applied. Mythical zoans are rarer than logias and have broken the rules that apply to the other zoans.

That’s because they got special abilities that come alongside the transformations:

We have already seen Marco here using the healing aspect of his fruit in his base human form. Kaido’s just using the special ability(s) that comes with his dragon zoan, he doesn’t need to transform per say to make use of the said ability. So Ion think it would be much different if he did it in his Dragon form.
