I don't exactly remember the scans in detail, but iirc, in their first encounter, they were quite evenly matched.
In their second encounter he had to flee due to the Kairoseki nail guy.
In their last encounter, Law cut Hawkins into pieces, though it seems he had no lives to begin with, or rather made Law's subordinates his lives. And since they are alive, it seems Hawkins gave up on them.
That's not exactly overpowering a Hawkins with all his lives and arsenal. Zoro on the other hand took one life of Hawkins, then faced one of Hawkins most powerful dolls, ate the nails to protect Tama and then destroyed it, taking a second life ot Hawkins. While using Nitoryu.
And now Zoro has Enma. What happens if he goes all out with Santoryu and Enma? Maybe pulling out Asura again, which is not an attack but a mode; le literally is walking around with 3 heads and 9 arms with 9 swords, 3 of which are Enmas.
