Kidd and law were bound to fight kaido
They have personal beef not just some emotional outburst like zoro does

if the char saying it isnt enough, literally a chapter dedicated to it
when it does happen
pretend you didnt see the chapter.
kaido is getting that scar reopened with a cut / might get.
it clear it became personal at least this chapter.

Oda avoids to outright state that someone wants to kill. unless its a bad guy.
the wording still implies that what Zoro wants to do would normally be fatal.

Odens personal beef was with orochi not kaido

last I recall the beef with those three was playing little pirate games so there 's nothing much to think there. kaido in reality sees none of them as a threat. But they all have personal issues with kaido be it their crew(kid) , what he has done to wano( luffy,zoro) and presumably okiku (zoro) .

You know when you're a noob pokemon player and you vs Elite 4 the first time? You buy 50 hyper potions and spam heal every turn? That's gonna be Marco with Luffy's group.

Marco’s role will be to clear Zoro’s route to Kaido, initially. Marco vs King or Queen would be epic. Eventually though, Marco needs to support Luffy’s team vs. Kaido. My mans is lifting islands and shit

This, this right there is probably the biggest support for the ZKK theory, that bubble "no one has able to take Kaidou's head". Oda could have chosen any other words, could have place it on anybody. But he chose "take Kaidou's head", and placed it directly on Zoro, and made it look like he was talking to Zoro telepathically.
We're getting a Kaido and Big Mom scene soon. Either to set up the 2 Yonko face to face with Luffy/Law/Kid/Zoro scene. Which is 95% what chapter 1000 will probably be. Or to start the Rocks flashback. If Ch 1000 is prime Garp, Roger, WB, Ray, Linlin, Kaido, Xebec it'd be really ballsy at this point in the arc. But I see it as less than 5%.
Marco could lead a group vs Mom and Luffy vs Kaido. Just not sure both are falling here.

The combinations we could see between the 8 of them would be amazing to see. They arent all the same type of fighter theres a nice mix
3 have hax law hawkins apoo
2 have ryou luffy zoro
2 cqc fighters in drake and killer
