Oden said that if he won't be able to strike down Kaido, no one will.
Now people are arguing about whether Oden meant "no one in Wano" or "no one in the world". What makes more sense? Two things that seem to contradict the "no one in the world" notion.
Looking forward for great arguments of the opposing site that are backed up by facts.

- Saying "no one can't if I can't" implies that Oden saw himself as equal or superior to even Roger and Whitebeard, which can hardly be true, since Roger completely outclassed Oden with a basic move. When Roger and Whitebeard clashed with their Haki only (while Whitebeard hold back his devastating DF power, as Roger did with whatever power matched the Gura to justify them being equals), Oden was shocked. And that was already an Oden who was near his prime, if not prime. Since he travelled with Whitebeard 4 years prior to meeting Roger, in the last year with Roger mainly serving as an translator. While in Wano in the next 5 years, mainly dancing and teaching the Scabbards instead of growing (which would demand fighting strong does of comparable caliber).
- It seems people outside of Wano didn't know what was going on in Wano for a long time, including Whitebeard. Oden himself only figured out once he arrived in Wano permanently again (when he visited Wano the first time after 4 years, he sensed something was different but didn't figure out). Otherwise, Whitebeard would've stepped in, for the love of Oden and especially when having Izo on his ship, who has a personal connection to Wano, a brother and her lord Oden, but he didn't know it either. Since Wano is an isolated country that barely leaks information to the outside, Oden himself viewed it as an internal business. Or otherwise he would've immediately called Whitebeard and Rayleigh to team up with. So Oden couldn't really rely on neither Whitebeard nor Rayleigh to interfere. But he could rely on "Joyboy", who will start a great war and open the borders of Wano.
