I hope you're not talking about Apoo regaining consciousness after he was cut down by who Zoro didn't completely cut him through because he had to stop his cutting power so he could knock the antidote out of Apoo's clothes.
That made Zoro look more impressive because it shows his skill and precision. The closer thing we seen to that level of skill was Kyoshiro when he cut Hiyori. He used the ability to cut nothing to cut her enough to injure and drop her. Then switched from cutting to not cutting to push her blood out so people would think she received a deeper cut then it was.
