Thriller Bark, guys.

I know but seeing Luffy say that he needs Zoro strength would be dope.
Showing how devoted is him to Zoro same as Zoro did.

Even tho TB grow an aspect of Zoro(for Luffys sake) it also took a part of Zoro character that I loved which was him still having his dream first above anything.

Zoro and Ray are different from others

-They have never been into piracy before Luffy and Roger
-They are not Ace who set sail to become Pk and ended up being underling of another pirate
-Not also Shanks , wb etc etc who begun piracy under another and than formed their own crews.
-Theirs piracy begins with luffy and roger and ends with them.

Dont compare those two with others who had been in piracy and continued to be..

Zoro is more than pirate and more than an underling.
On his ambition , he follows nobody but himself. That is why Oda didnt specify Named step stones and pointed out directly Mihawk on Zoro's part.. these step stones would be hindrance to flow of story and crew dynamics

We should remember that Zoro willingly being under Luffy and sacrificing his pride is portrayed as a good thing. Luffy and Shanks bowing their heads, taking abuse and laughing it off are portrayed as good things. Being a COC wielder absolutely does not mean being the dominant, no. 1 big dick energy boss-man at all times. Mihawk and Hancock admired Zoro and Luffy more because they sacrificed their pride, not because they clung to it and refused to submit to anyone.

CoC stopped being something exceptional once guys like Chinjao got it. The hype is no longer around being a conqueror but leading a bunch of conquerors. Someone like Zoro could've been an exceptional captain of a pirate crew all on his own, but he chooses to follow Luffy. That adds to Luffy's portrayal.

Yeah Chinjao having it.... but the rest deserves it.

I'll say Hancock could have done without it, Oden also could have done without it.

Urouge even said Zoro is not someone to follow others...and that must speak volumes about the captain. And it does.

It seriousely is a case of the greater Zoro is the more of a feat it is for Luffy to have such a guy in his crew...

Besides Luffy is the biggest snowflake in the whole manga, we don't know if Zoro would agree to join any other dude on his journey. Luffy has the charisma stat maxed out and than some.

It would be nice if Zoro receives the Nidai Kitetsu (a great grade sword, like Wado Ichimonji, Shusui and Enma) this arc
