I don’t think the raid will fail. Whenever the arc has had a countdown to a disaster (like the bomb in Alabasta, the Buster Call in Enies Lobby, the sun rising in Thriller Bark, Birdcage in Dressrosa, etc), the main villains always went down. I don’t see how Onigashima landing on the Flower Capital is any different

And thats cool, I get that. I'm only saying this because it doesn't look like the fight ended in a tragedy here, and the fact that Law is removing them from the roof may mean they have place further, but who knows. At this point I've just accepted to roll with whatever Oda is doing.

Everything is gonna take a while, but it wouldn't be the first time Oda has downplayed feats if villains (Enel not killing anyone basically with millions of volts, Crocodiles bomb not even being able to kill Pell, CP-9 killing nobody basically at Iceberg's mansion, Etc etc). Its just something I've learned to accept, so i wouldn't be surprised if they stood up in 10-20 chapters to defend Wano from some of the extraneous fights like Ninja/Samurai/Numbers/Orochi for different reasons

Maybe their role could be meeting Yamato and taking care of Momonosuke. I do think they will try to defend Wano, but I'm not sure their getting any detailed fights. If it is anything like Carrot just Inu and Neko alone should be out for 1-2 hours just because of sulong alone.
