You post that panel from the start of onigashima yet EVEN IN ONIGASHIMA Zoro is more relevant.
I mean these are just facts right? Like do you not know Zoro has done way more than Kid?

The narrative importance of hurting kaido is way higher than the narrative importance of just beating CP-9
The fact that Oda went out of his way to explain how Luffy and Zoro can possibly hurt kaido and Oda spent 30 chapters on just that shows this is a bigger deal.

I'm not arguing on the fact that Zoro is gonna play a more important role in the fight in comparison to Kidd. He will, more likely than not. What I'm saying is that it makes no sense for Kidd to not have ryou when he's at the rooftop. He can't do shit to either Kaido or Big Mom without it. He's not gonna automatically jump to fighting a yonko without a power-up and that power-up should be ryou considering its importance in this arc.
You people who keep using panel count as a measure of who’s more relevant are so damn clueless lol. You realize that going off of panel count Kiku is more relevant than Kaido right? It’s about quality not quantity. Wtf do you mean Zoro has been “more relevant” than Kidd on Onigashima? Kidd has been running up the castle to Kaido the whole time, which is why to this point he hasn’t gotten much screen time. Why would Oda waste time showing him fight fodder to reach the roof? Let’s see how “relevant” he is now that he’s reach his goal.
