TCB translation of Oden's prediction is more earnest. Fits the grandiose scale of the showdown scene better than previous lower quality translations. Also, I now see I misunderstood this scene. Yamato was indeed referring to Roger. If only she knew

After the war, Yamato will talk to Luffy about Ace and the meaning of the D and drink sake together since Ace never came back and share a drink with Yamato and after Luffy and Yamato exchanged sake cups, she will be officially join the SH crew.

Kid was never portrayed as a Whitebeard figure. He was portrayed as someone constantly losing. Law went under Luffys wing. Even this Chapter he was commanded by Luffy. Luffy will surpass these two Yonkos.
And Zoro all throughout Wano has received special treatment and has more ties to Wano than any other character barring Luffy.
Your headcanon is quite pathetic and I pity you for reading this great section of the story with such a narrow vision.

Yeah, Zoro's probably gonna cut Kaido up but I disagree with Eustass Kid was portrayed as someone losing tho. Again, yeah he lost but the people he lost to are 2 Yonkos and 1 inconclusive fight with a Yonko Commander probably.
He's probably gonna end up as the top 3 pirate captains in the era at the EOS with Law and Luffy.

Yes he will end up as top 3 by default. He will show impressive feats in the coming chapters. However, he will not defeat neither Yonko. By his casual lackadaisical and overly arrogant attitude, I have less faith in Kid then I did at the start of the Raid. His comment came off not matching the mood. Coupled with the Yonko focus on Luffy, juxtaposed with Luffys focus on Kinemon.
