yes obviously other characters are important and should get more time but are they going to bring in new fans and popularity like Zoro?
I'm talking about from the business perspective. We've already seen Luffy full potential but we haven't what would happen if Zoro got more panel time. And I'm arguing that it might increase One Piece's popularity more

Yeah I'm a bit afraid of that as well. Seeing Zoro's popularity he might decisde to feature him less. But that would not make sense from business perspective. I hope he makes the smart decision.

And with such a huge amount of panel time why is he not miles ahead of the rest of the characters?

Too much panel time ends up backfiring and hurting the character.
The same would happen to Zoro if he had Luffy's amount of panels.
I think Oda doesnt realize that he is hurting Luffy/OP with it tho.
Luffy would benefit from less panel time while other SH's would benefit from more, Zoro excluded.

Yeah I do agree but despite that Zoro hasn't done much and is still this popular. I'm saying if he were more featured like having fight like Luffy's fight with Kat and other fights He has more potential.

Well, Oda killed Ace at the peak of his popularity for example.

I recall him saying in an interview that countless fans wrote him asking to not let the WG execute him during Impel Down/Marineford, but he said that he will not let a characters popularity influence the story he's trying to write or something along those lines.

Yes and it helped the story as well. But Luffy's current panel time is not helping the story or the popularity so why not try giving more attention to the the other characters.

Worst part about the post time skip was the SH's being less of the focus of every arc.

for example Kinemon has almost as much panel time as Zoro in Wano, and the Scabbards overall have more panel time than Luffy, Zoro and Sanji put together.

Worst part about the post time skip was the SH's being less of the focus of every arc.

for example Kinemon has almost as much panel time as Zoro in Wano, and the Scabbards overall have more panel time than Luffy, Zoro and Sanji put together.

And the tradgey of it is that we still don't care about Scarbbards. Even Oda doesn't and it shows he had Kaido oneshot them just for the purpose that Luffy could save them. Like if Worstgen and Staw Hats were going to be the main focus a the end why not build them up rather than the characters which inevitably won't even matter.

Its not even about Zoro that much. But do you think Luffy justifies having that much panel time? I think not and as such other characters should be given a chance to increase One Piece Popularity

Agreed, Zoro already has a good ammount of Pannel time, ODa whould take away some of Luffy's time to give to other SW's soo they can feel somewhat relevant again. In dressrosa he took a lot of action that could go to SW's to give them to grand fleet peoples and Law, hells, he even split the crew in half.

The zorot4rds forgot that the story is about Luffy, and just because they have a sword fetish this will not change the manga. Zoro is famous in the west because after Naruto ended the Naruto fans start to crush Zoro, as he is the closest one OP character get to the characters of Kishimoto manga, no development, just look cool and act tough. It's starting become cringe the topics the fanboys create.

What even more bad is he took out half crew again in WCI. Like it would've been so much better for Sanji's arc to have Zoro. He would helped build more drama into the arc. That's why now I think their rivalry is for the gags, it nothing real.

Yeah, he split the crew in half again and the result was that there was no one else in the rescue team asside from Luffy that was capable of dealing with commanders, he could have given one to Sanji but no, not even that....Luffy gets 2 of the worst fights in the series instead.
