Interesting to see oda leave out Garp in that panel with silhouettes behind Luffy. Was expecting Garp and dragon to be there tbh. You can at least argue that Kaido never met Dragon, but there is no excuse for Garp.

All 5 of their attacks hurt Kaido btw. If even the Scabbards hurt Kaido then of course the present Supernovas can as well.

Kaido's words are interesting though. He was taken aback by Luffy's ability to hurt and said if he's as good as a select few fighters than fight him or legitimately hurt him. I think it's the latter cause it's hard to think Luffy is as strong or has stronger haki than BB, BM, Akainu, Dragon, Prime Garp etc., or that those can't fight Kaido.

Kaido is talking about the people he has fought and has managed to legit hurt him. Xebec, Roger and WB were monsters portrayed above him. Oden on panel almost killed him. Shanks likely got added to that list before MF.

It's going to take an insane amount of power, damage and plot armor to put him down for good and this battle is surely not going to be enough for that.

Just remember the crazy amount of damage and injuries that Whitebeard took and endured at Marineford while he was old and sick before his body finally gave up.

He doesn't have advanced haki. He literally said it himself.

And my question wasn't about haki, it's about his DF powers.
What makes these metal arms stronger/different from other metal arms?
