Luffy with Gear 4 Barrier haki still injured him and pushed him back in this chapter. But Internal destruction haki is what is needed for lasting damge on kaido to bypass his regeneration unless Luffy uses Kong Organ Gun with barrier haki.

so his mini motosickles produce power more than a superhuman like killer who couldn't take out his scythe from Zoro flexing his muscle Kaku blocked onigiri with just his nose while he just ate the df / Ryuma blocked 2 sword iai attack with just his sword ...... but Killer couldn't react to this basic santoryu technique
