Zoro Worshipper
clearly zoro is not strong enough to penetrate the kaido skin like a red scabbard, the drawing is too clear and there is still some controversy?
He left a small mark on his neck, I don't think zoro knows ryuu.
So he also doesn't know Asura going by this splendid logic?

The fight has just commenced and you have a further element, he says "I cannot use Enma's full power yet" he will unlock it during the battle, it's almost granted. This how it usually works

It's actually Killer who didn't complain about his attacsk and weapons
He is the one who attacked kaido by the neck

Zoro complained his lacked power and needs to draw out more
He disnt touch Kaido's neck!
It would be weird to only highlighting Killers „ Point of attack“ (dont know the word lol). Where is the wound zoro inflicted then. Both attacked the neck in a combo attack. Dont let zoros position after the attack distract you from this fact. Oda draws zoro everytime in this way behind his opponent regardless of his targetted point

Show the whole page. The same spots your circling showed up near Killers attack too genius :risitasad:
so no blood from the zoom when he slashed kaido neck but it is in other region is this the same for kaido / sanji who literaly attacked the neck and the damage is drawn in the side they started with to attack or it is Zoro rengoku onigiri that makes blood spreading and falling everywhere i wonder why Zoro passing through kaido has blood in his region :pepecorn:

Just wait until Kidd makes a railgun and uses his mech to pick up the giant sword on Onigashima :steef:
I really hope these happen. That giant sword HAS to be used by someone somehow, ideally and especially Kid ofc! Have you seen this theory post on Reddit per chance btw?
https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePiece/comments/4gfwhz
It mentions Kid using a railgun technique but also "induction smelting" which could be such an awesome, strong and useful powerup for him.

There's such INSANE potential with his DF and I still have some hope especially after this chapter that Oda will realise and showcase it for us. Especially given the insane creativity Oda has in the first place ofc!

I'm not sure if Kid has Punk Vise in Pirate Warriors 4, I'm going to assume he doesn't but it would be so great to use it one way or another in a game! Would be nice if they updated his moveset for the game if he doesn't have it but I'm not hopeful that they'll do that.

KAIDO D. STRONGER

So I guess it's safe to say that these are where Kaido's 7 losses came from.

Question is, which one/s beat him more than once?
Nah, those are the people who are able to fight him, only. "Few are able to fight me". fighting is different from defeating.

They are people he considers good (in combat). And it can give you a good fight. Because if we are going to adhere to the timeline, there is a lot of gap in that.Especially the fact that Rocks is there.

Okay so I just read the chapter, and since @Topi Jerami tagged me, two things:

1. We know Kaido has already been defeated by weaker members of the Navy than the Admirals, so Kaido not bringing up an Admiral here is irrelevant, especially because we already know that people like Oden and Shanks are weaker than them anyway.

2. Luffy is a Pirate, trying to become the Pirate King, so of course Kaido isn’t going to perceive him as being similar to an Admiral who don’t share that ambition lol. The Admirals already embarrassed the strongest Yonko at Marineford, there is no reason to remind us that they are above mere Kaido lol.

Anyway, kind of a disappointing chapter like I said in the spoiler thread. Nothing really happened worth talking about except for Kidd’s new form, which didn’t seem to have much effect on Kaido at all really.

But I’d once again like to bring up my disappointment with Wano, which never stops letting me down.

Oda in 2018: “I feel like fans would be disappointed if Luffy defeated Kaido because his punch was so strong. Luffy and I will have to put our heads together to find something more creative.”

If 2018 Oda could see himself in 2021, I wonder what he would be thinking, given that Luffy’s entire Wano character arc involves him just getting stronger punches, and the final Chapter 1000/Chapter 1001 moment where he and Kaido begin their battle just involves every character fan-gasming about how strong Luffy’s punch is and the fact that a punch would work on Kaido.

Oda has failed to live up to his own standard that he set for himself, objectively. Once again Oda shows that he is fantastic at creating hype but utterly abysmal at following through with said hype, and really the entirety of Wano has been a testament to that point, with this moment here as the best example.

This is it guys. Luffy’s entire arc in Wano was just getting a stronger punch. There wasn’t really anything else to it. Even Zoro’s whole story in Wano was just Enma and not much else. The entire rest of the story was devoted to Oden and the Scabbards, and was poorly executed at that because most don’t care about the scabbards and were just waiting on Zoro and Luffy to enter the scene anyway.

Wano is the One Piece arc that keeps on disappointing, non-stop. Anyway, not a terrible chapter, but not really a good one either lol.
