Kaido tried to attack WB while he was fighting 2 of the 3 great powers.
For someone who got pissed at the Old Kurozumi for interfering in his 1v1 with Oden
That sure sounds a lot like he's a coward who knows he can't beat WB 1 on 1.
No evidence Kaido and WB met a single time. Kaido was hiding in Wano and WB never went there
Yamato called it an EXPEDITION
Since Kaido is consistently hiding in Wano it was an incredible event for him to go out and leave.
Kaido hasn't met Linlin in decades
No evidence he's met WB
Doesn't seem to have tried to meet Teach recently either
The only one he has challenged is Shanks, no one else

Except young shanks (high tier or so) whom he never beat too
They are included. Mihawk is a better swordsmen than them. (Not sure about Oden). But that doesn’t mean his stronger than them. He the most skilled and strongest with a blade. Doesn’t mean someone can’t drop a meteor on his head for the final blow.
In a hypothetical world. Let’s say Fuji and Mihawk fight. It’s extreme on both sides. Mihawk has the upper hand. But the battle is close. His sword techniques and swords play are astonishing like nothing fujitora has ever seen before....

But for me Mihawk being the WSS doesn’t mean he can defy gravity, doesn’t mean he can tank meteors, doesn’t mean he has better haki than shanks or Rayleigh, doesn’t mean he can automatically beat big mom, doesn’t mean he can cut fire or lightning, he’s the best swordsman in terms of swordsplay. Not taking that away from him. But not everyone fights with just swords.
BECAUSE even the lord above knows that if something like that were to happen you people wouldn’t just concede and be like “ ah well Fuji is the WSS now” you would look for some loophole and be like no he used his devil fruit that’s cheating blah.
if Oda had put Mihawk as one of the people that could fight Kaido then your headcanons would explode. It’s not convenient that zoros final opponent is someone who fights in the same manner to him. It’s not convenient that Mihawk doesn’t want to fight shanks after he’s lost an arm. (Because shanks is without a doubt a stronger man since they fought all those years ago or are you saying his character gets weaker as he gets older even though he’s the youngest Yonko? This is how Oda has written the story. Who has Mihawk fought to get to where he is? We still don’t know. If young shanks is all you have then surely you’re also going off head canon too? It’s not a matter of “re-reading the manga”.

Why would Mihawk accepts the shameful position of being a "government dog"?
The answer is simple. He doesn't want to be harrassed by vice admirals
WB is always serious when It's about protecting his family, yet Kaido only comes to him when WB is about to fight the most powerful organization in the world + the 7 shichibukai?

It is a special event whenever Kaido leaves Onigashima. That's not something he does very often, otherwise Yamato wouldn't highlight that he went on an expedition.
He's hiding on his island, he knows WB can't come to kill him when the lives of million of innocent people are at stake.

And he didn't try go challenge the newly promoted Teach.

also as much as I love law, he didn’t cut the meteor with swordmanship or haki it was his df. Fuji power doesn’t just drop one meteor and that’s it he can spam that shit if he wants too. Fuji wasn’t even serious in Dressrosa. But please try harder.
