Guys, due to some toxic threads and the consequences of those threads the forum is being hurt right now, and I believe none of us would want that. As a result of that the moderation might become a lot stricter and consequences might become a lot worse than just spending some time in Udon. This mostly comes from the Z vs S debate which turns every thread into a toxic one and the consequences for it will be more dire from now on.
The things that will also be more closely monitored are insults, slurs, one liners etc. If someone insults you, is spreading misinformation or is being annoying, report him and let the mods deal with it accordingly. When you see someone bashing Zoro in an unrelated thread hit the report button and he/she will be dealt with. If someone is insulting you for no reason, hit the report button and again they will be dealt with accordingly. If you see troll-ish, baiting one liners hit the report button and the situation will again be dealt with. If you cannot fathom someone put him on ignore.
Also please don't be the ones to start such things. We had our fun trolling and baiting for some months now, this should be the time to focus on proper discussion, debates, and allowing the forum to grow so that we can indulge in the aforementioned things more often and with proper points. The paucity of threads without Z vs S in them is a worrisome thing, and it should be amended. Soon enough, even for the most die heart fans, it should be clear that there is no debate to be had there.
I know it is in the spur of the moment, and we all can get provoked, but let's try to refrain from using words like "moron, retard, idiot, clown, candyboy, etc", in discussions and in general, and try to get our points across without them. I know some posters are disingenuous, and doing it on purpose, therefore make sure to avoid getting into discussions with them and report them if they overdo it.
We are often blamed for everything so let's try to refrain from doing things like that, and see what will happen. In summation, let's be the better men and allow the manga and our post quality to speak for us.
If you feel that reporting or something else is not working, I will be here and you can speak to me and I will try my best to get our point across to them. I've been doing so in the past few days as well, and I think it's been of help.

Nothing specific really, I just think that place in general is home to the absolute worst Luffy dickriders in existence.
If you want me to give an example, I once got downvoted by like 60% of the thread because I disagreed with a comment (which was highly upvoted fyi) that said base Luffy one-shots Zoro

Hmm... I see. I have some extreme proposals regarding recent blame game:
Basically we become passive and keep our Zoro wank to the FC or Discord. The haters will run amok, let them. Do not engage them. Even if they are spreading factually wrong info or spinning the truth or using headcanons.
Obviously, my proposals are crazy and most of you won't agree. But I feel that this is a good direction for now.
Debates were once a tool to settle differences, but now it is a tool to further publicize those differences. So, debating Zoro vs. Sanji or Mihawk vs. Yonkou/Admiral is pointless.
Finally I propose that we make an amazing Zoro FC Banner and attach to our 'Signature' here at WG.
- We all place posters who are known for baiting us or otherwise slandering Zoro/Mihawk in 'Ignore List'. That way we can refrain from starting altercations.
- We keep Zoro/Mihawk-based discussions to the minimum outside of this FC, for the time being. That way any attempt to incite something will fail.
- We share the UN in our Discord when somebody is slandering Zoro/Mihawk or 'swordbois'. If we see a poster doing it multiple times, we place them in 'Ignore List' and keep distance from them.
- We stop reporting Zoro/Mihawk slanders or false info. Reporting is pointless and some think that Mods do not remove indiscretions by Zoro fans, only those reported by Zoro fans. Slanderous posts doesn't do any harm to Zoro and Mihawk, even though it may be hurtful for us to see. Keeping them online is better as it shows the nonsense we deal with.
- We check each other, so that a rogue Zoro fan doesn't cause any damage to the reputation of the Fandom.
- We do not bring our headcanons/Hopes into general threads, unless clearly shown as our headcanons/hopes and not something we firmly believe.
