Luffy's new technique "Red Roc" reminds us of the origin of ONE PIECE story. Roc/Rukh is a legendary bird in Middle East. Chapter 999 was content filled and fantastic!! Excited for chapter 1000!! What a milestone for Oda and One Piece
Just my thoughts:
In Oden flashback, Oden and yasuie seemed like brothers.....Yasuie seemed like a older brother to Oden....Oden has a 26 year old kid and a 28 year old...While yasuie's kid is apparently O Toko ( seems like 8- 15 years old).....Something doesn't add up imo. Is Toko really yasuie's child? Or did Yasuie adopt Toko from someone? I may be completely wrong lol

2 Robin puts Mangrove’s tree sap to Usopp. Oda says it helps audience to feel as if OP world is real.

Just found out about Mr Morj YouTube channel. His explanation of themes and the way he analyses is really excellent!! His videos made me understand more of what Oda would have thought while writing an arc. It made me appreciate One Piece even more!!
Glad Oda rubbished that Luffy was actually serious against Apoo through Yamato's words last chapter!! Her hyping up Luffy was just awesome!!

Glanced through Tower of God webtoon!! It's really good shonen webtoon with bit of lore, mystery and cool characters!!
Brute force wise.. Calamities can match G4 Luffy or they may even overwhelm him in that regard. If Luffy fights a calamity it will come down to their DF usage and their haki capabilities...
