She cries for Hatchan's sake despite what he and his crewmates did to her and her village, accepted Jinbe despite what Arlong did, and even befriends and recognizes him for who he is, not what his kin have done to her. Her hugging him at the start of 977 had the strongest effect on me.
I can't be the only one who thinks the very idea of Oden secretly being alive is nonsense, right? I mean, what does that bring narratively? It's like people got way too caught up on his hype, they forget how crucial his death is in the grand scheme of the arc.
