Controversial Friendly reminder that Kizaru accomplished his mission while Luffy failed

It’s hard to give Kizaru much credit for stabbing an already fatally wounded old man with no fighting ability.

Especially when the opportunity to do so only arose because Saturn had to get off his ass for the first time in years, criticise Kizaru for his performance and take on Luffy.

It‘s a failure on Luffy (and Sanji’s) part more than anything impressive from Kizaru.

Meanwhile Luffy fans keep wanking the last panel as if Kizaru getting injured by another top tier is something that admiral fans wouldn't expect. Even if Luffy is viewed by fans as "stronger" in the battledome sense, it doesn't change the fact that Kizaru succeeded in his objective.

Despite all this, it seems that Vegapunk is the true winner now that his announcement has been triggered.

Vegapunk having such a good failsafe is the only thing I give him respect for. Very well played.

It also explains why Oda delayed his death for so long, with weird moments like him standing right in front of Saturn & Kizaru but them not killing him.

Man’s so desperate for feats he’s getting excited about murdering a dying pensioner.

Although I suppose fighting nerfed geriatrics is how Admirals have came by all their feats so far, so there’s nothing new there.
Four words - hand-in-the-pocket

Everytime Kizaru look bad he has hand(s)-in-his-pocket(s), show his lack of motivation :kuzanshut:

With Luffy around, people can die.
With Zoro around, nobody can die.
And yet, people still take Luffy's words too seriously that he needs to be the strongest to protect everyone...
His words don't match his actions. He is a talker, that's all he is.

“Nerfed” bro is trying to gas up Vegapunk is his brain ok?:ihaha:

Son, this illiteracy is getting worrying.

About as worrying as how the Admirals keep plummeting.

First it was old retired Ray who hadn’t used a sword in years
Then heart attack Cancerbeard
Having to gangbang Garp
And now getting excited about taking out Vegapunk with half his organs missing.

Which old man is the Admirals next victim at this stage, Woop Slap with both his hands already chopped off?

Kizaru's mission was to kill Vegapunk,Luffy's was to prevent that from happening :

The result :

it is what it is.

As a honest Luffy fan I am very disappointed in Oda, 2 years training, ACOC, mythical god devil fruit awakening and admirals still keep killing people he's supposed to protect?

Nothing changed
Glad someone highlighted it.

Sanji and his fans got trolled hard and took the heat for not being able to save VP but hardly anyone brought up that it's Luffy's failure as well.

Sanji had the job to escape with VP. Luffy's task was to hold Saturn and kiz momentarily to allow Sanji to escape.

But all luffy did was bounce and dodge while laughing....Luffy is responsible as well coz at the end we did find out that he has the ability to hold both of them momentarily but he didn't
