You really want Akainus dad to have been killed. I think Akainu having history with Dragon is enough, he doesnt need to tie into the BB and Rocks thing. And seeing how this arc is being set up against HK and WG it is most likely that it was Garling or some Gorosei/Imu for the death of Rocks. Rocks were defeated in GV where he probably got captured as the others selfishly looked for their own interests and then he was executed by WG.

No expecting Oda to give the dead Admiral any narrative importance.

The question now is Loki was a big Rocks fan, he lamented being born in the wrong era, what are the chances that he actually joins Rocks son.

In my opinion, Nika is an in-universe name for Jesus Christ, Imu is Satan, and Blackbeard's fruit is a zoan model Imu like Luffy's is a zoan model Nika

If Luffy's fruit is a paramecia that turns into a zoan

And Blackbeard's fruit is a logia that turns into a zoan

And they are each a fruit modeled after Jesus, respectively Satan

That has biblical themes of the kingdom of God being like a mustard seed that is the smallest at first but outgrows all others

And God's strength being made perfect in weakness

The weakest ( a paramecia ) and the strongest ( a logia ) get drawn in a field to battle, the zoan transformation, and the weakest wins
