I doubt this.
For one, Netanyahu would like to stay out of prison but this isn't the cause of this war. Polls showed the overwhelming majority of Israelis want this war. Opposition leader Lapid and Bennet have shown support for it. Its part of the Greater Israel vision to either balkanize Iran or replace it with a friendly regime.
As for Reza, I do not believe for a moment Trump or any American official believed his grift. Trump publicly dismissed Pahlavi multiple times, and the guy has no cohesive movement or support within Iran. He's less viable than Venezuela's opposition leader, and we saw what she got: Nothing.

Like I said above: the Iran war has massive public support in Israel.
And this Iran war started last year in June, it became clear Israel couldn't finish the job on its own and this is why America is fighting the war now with Israel.

But you're right on a very important point: seems like Israel and the USA have different objectives for this war. Israel wants to bring down the regime and that includes destroying infrastructure to cause an uprising, while the USA wants a longer and slower degradation of Iran's capabilities while keeping infrastructure for whoever they think will rule Iran next.

As for Greenlannd, I think Trump would be more serious about taking it now than before since NATO has shown it has less desire to take part in America's adventures and would rather keep the defensive alliance a purely defensive one, especially after the Ukraine war.
I think Trump won't go back to taking over Greenland again.

Nato chief backed US action against Iran.

And, interestingly after refusing to help US, NATO allies flipped within a day and agrees to help.

Some did it conditionally - after truce

Some are ready to help now.

NATO pulled out its troops out of Iraq today. I doubt NATO would engage in war against Iran directly, the country that went the most is the UK allowing America to use its bases for strikes, but thats about it.
I did read that countries like Japan,France,UK and others offered to help with the strait, but how that help manifests is yet to be seen.

Trump today called NATO cowards and his anti-European sentiment increased with this fiasco, so I expect him to be more aggressive on Greenland now than before.

For many, a direct engagement with Iran is a political suicide.

Countries are putting their interests first - it's not their war to fight. US created this mess and US should sort it out.

So you are right to say - NATO most likely won't engage directly.

However, it seems some will help indirectly like providing with anti drones technology or in opening the Hormuz.

US most likely won't ground troops on the mainland but we might see take over of those 3 islands through which Iran controls Hormuz. This is on the cards.

Because Sharaa was trying to take advantage of the war to Invade Sweida , not understanding that his army us so much weaker than Israel that Israel Can Kill him any time it wants
And what if he helps Hezbollah? Seems like this move could backfire to me.

I recall people saying Syria may help and invade Lebanon to disarm the Hezb. That seems further away now.

Then he dies and a second civil war starts
I recall people even saying Syria may help and invade Lebanon to disarm the Hezb.
Aoun and co would never have allowed it in the first place, because they know if the Syrian army enters they aren't leaving , Only Nabih can disarm Hezb realistically , or maybe his successor

Notice how the Amal Movement gave less support to Hezb than Sunni Jihadists did the past few weeks?

Amal and Hezb are practically the same, I believe its just Amal is distancing itself in case Hezb gets defeated badly so they can maintain some influence in Lebanon.

If Hezb holds like it did in 2006, you'll see how things will switch up fast.

You know how "flip flop"y Lebanese politicians are, the moment They sense Hezb got weakened too hard they won't hesitate to forcibly absorb them, the only issue would be the Radwan forces,

Problem here is we just gave a general observation about the left on selective activism (which is true actually and everyone knows the reason) and suddenly we have a leftist getting defensive about it lol

I mean logiko felt the need to take it personal and get reactionary says enough
Logiko only engages with politics for activism purposes. Anything else is meaningless to him
