So, since historically Shin 200k army gets defeated by Chu's 500k, in the manga will Shouheikun/Kouen execute a Riboku style trap on him? Or will Hara make something completely different. I'm interested in seeing how Mouten will play into this as well.

What probably happened was, Han had some really strong defensive positions against Renpa (walls etc.) and through that advantage + their own ability, they were able to repel him that one time. Nothing shocking.
All bets are off. The Kingdom scale that we thought we knew was a lie. Lol
For two young commanders of zero renown to repel two of the greatest commanders of all time is just completely nuts. Who knows what kind of very silly shit Qin will be facing in the future.

It was stated that Kanmei was specially appointed deputy to Kouen, to go out and receive Oukotsu.
@Elder Lee Hung Kanmei was a deputy for Kouen for that particular event. So unless the deputy appointment remained afterwards, Kanmei wasn't part of the Kouen army.
