Wano was objectively a disappointment for Zoro's character.

So many Zoro plots went nowhere:
* Zoro rounding up the Samurai
* Kaido detecting Oden's presence in Enma
* Kaido declaring that we'll never see a Monster Samurai of the likes of Kozuki Oden again
* Zoro's comparisons with Ryuma
* "The Second Coming of Ryuma"
* Zoro visiting Ryuma's grave
* The Grim Reaper

Is Garp confirmed to have Haoshoku coating?

His galaxy impact wasn't meaningfully distinguished from Coby's Honesty Impact and Coby hasn't been suggested to be a Haoshoku user.

The main reason to believe Garp has Haoshoku is because of Dragon and Luffy, and a Top Tier Haoshoku user should have Haoshoku coating.

I think Zoro is plausibly stronger than the Old Legends at this point.

The main reason to reject it is if you think Shiryu is supposed to be a ceiling for current Zoro.

But I don't really buy it.

While King of Hell lasts current Zoro's firepower should be above Old Garp IMO.

I don't really care for the Zoro vs Sanji debates.

But people are still trying to argue that Zoro is close to Sanji, when Sanji is decisively weaker than people current Zoro is much stronger than.

Sanji can't beat either Rooftop Zoro or King, and current Zoro mid diffs both.

There's like two levels between current Zoro and Sanji.

If Shanks is stronger than Mihawk, then not only Mihawk's character but also Zoro's will be fraudulent. Zoro will never achieve his dream and become the real World's Strongest Swordsman.

At Marineford Doflamingo tried to recruit Crocodile and Crocodile replied by saying Doflamingo should be asking to become Crocodile's subordinate instead.

This may really happen now with Cross Guild.

Imagine still thinking Mihawk is below Yonkou level after he was given a bounty > 2 of the current Emperors (despite being an underling) and turned down the Yonkou seat in the same chapter.

Same chapter went on to further reiterate his superiority to Shanks.

I don't really feel compelled to wage the "Mihawk is Top 1" agenda right now, but his top tier status has been solidified beyond any doubt.

I used to think Low Top Tier was a thing and that the old legends (alongside Yamato, Law, Kidd, etc.) were there.

Then Shanks half shotted Kidd and BB babyshaked Law.

Same BB pissed himself at the sight of Rayleigh and then Garp flexed on Kuzan.

Now it's apparent that the old legends are well clear of the likes of Yamato/Kidd/Law.

Even Benn Beckman doesn't seem to warrant a placement in the same breadth as them.
