The Unohana/Kenpachi fight is one of my favorite parts of Bleach. Can't wait to see more! I liked the color/shading, but the shadows made Unohana's eyes too difficult to see sometimes, which was a little disappointing.

This episode was alright. As a transitional episode, there were a lot of small scenes to get through. I wasn't a huge fan of Squad Zero before, so we'll see if the anime is able to improve my opinion of them.

This was a beautifully animated episode. Even the skeletons were good--they added an otherworldly aspect to the fight (as makes sense). As a bonus, we also got a great Aizen scene. It's been a long time since I read this arc, and I've forgotten a lot of it. Getting reacquainted with everything...

The Quincy are interesting, but I'm too attached to the Shinigami to switch sides. A lot was included in this episode, even with the review at the beginning. The Sternritter introductions were efficient, and some of the captains/vice captains got some exposure before being quickly defeated...

Surprisingly good showing from Law's crew

A brutal episode, but a good one. The first two episodes have really set the stage for how much carnage is to come. It was good to see arrancar/Urahara as well. I liked the ending song--it suits the atmosphere of the arc.
