If any of the Monster Trio will, it's him, but they're there together and I kinda doubt he'll be portrayed as getting overwhelmed while the other two excel, especially when Loki's still touching seastone. I expect some large-scale attacks and Loki beating the giants, but beyond that probably...
Big Mom. This and Jorul wanting an older lady, wouldn't be shocked if he gets his wish in an unforeseen way by a return from Linlin.
That aside, Ace, Sabo, Enel, lots of characters if they set out to be arsonists they'd do lots of damage.
He's been great. Folks claimed he'd be irrelevant, but Oda didn't give that naming theme for nothing and it makes sense to build off the Roger Pirates with one more relevant member. Obviously we didn't see everything he has, but he showed great DC and reactions, not to mention having both Luffy...
Gaban is Sanji's parallel regardless. It being such an important moment for those two to meet with someone Sanji will surpass doesn't detract from Sanji. But after the Straw Hats heard his story, I see no reason why they'd restrict it to those two.
In a sense, I get that take (Kaido was called strongest pirate and creature when most figures were active, Mihawk's World's Strongest Swordsman), but Imu exists. I don't think Luffy will be restricted to be below Kaido or Mihawk when he has to take down Imu (plus even if he had a lot of help, no...
If not now, maybe final war especially if his discoveries on the moon become relevant especially with that mural a few chapters ago. I hope we see tons of him.
Oda has given enough parallels that Luffy doesn't need to. Gaban was new and his mannerisms were already similar to Sanji in regards to the significance of love, so Luffy made the connection to help build up the parallel. Plus, character-wise, Rayleigh isn't that similar to Zoro in behaviour but...
I think Elbaph or against his Blackbeard Pirate enemy make the most sense. I'd prefer sooner rather than later. I'm also on the Mr. Prince vs Corrupt King train, so Sanji already being a Conqueror or revealing himself to be one both work in such a confrontation. Sanji will likely face a Holy...
I think Kid and Law will be strong pirates of this generation, but Oda has yet to draw strong parallels between them and Roger's rivals and adversaries. Law is Law, he'll be alright and probably be relevant in the final war, but Luffy's Whitebeard is a stretch.
Luffy, Zoro, Sanji then maybe Yamato (obviously she has it, but it's a matter of whether she joins) and Jimbei/Usopp (neither necessary, but wouldn't be surprised if either got it). Wouldn't be surprised if we end up with 5 Conqueror's, I just hope Oda actually gives them fitting...
Things could change, they could face Zoro and Sanji or the weaker Straw Hats if more Holy Knights appear. I imagine if fights ensue soon, someone will get overwhelmed. Then again, Sanji usually arrives whenever Robin gets hurt so we'll see.
Zoro's still got a decent path to the World's Strongest Man. A Holy Knight, Shiryu and any other arc opponents. Mihawk's too strong for current Zoro but it would be a visually appealing fight even if they faced now since Mihawk would show something cool.
Fine chapter. Hope Oda drops more exciting chapters. Loved that attack from Gaban and him giving up after he saw Luffy's G5 and that he had a formidable crewmate is fitting. Pretty huge castle so good DC from Gaban, along with Luffy and Zoro attacking in unison once they saw what Gaban had in...
The Monster Trio look great. Nami looks fine and fits the viking look. Usopp's look kinda sucks, and a different color probably would've been better for Loki but it ain't the end. Fairly solid volume cover, but not too amazing. Oh, yeah Chopper's there too.
Vivi will be next. Yamato joining in time for the Blackbeard Pirate fights and the Straw Hats' final voyage (or section of their voyage) would be a fitting parallel to Oden but I also don't think it has to happen, Grand Fleet is always there.
Then it's another question of whether any kids hop...
Character focus is more important to me, but fights would probably be easier for Oda to give the other Straw Hats. Franky at least consistently gets clashes and fights, but Robin and Brook have been lacking in that regard. Robin gets good moments, but they're spread pretty thin. I think Robin...
