Nah Lafitte’s definitely looking like Nami’s fight. He was shown acting as Teach’s advisor this chapter and Nami had that same dynamic with Luffy. Lafitte is shown to be one of the only Titanic Captains who genuinely respects Teach, and Nami’s loyalty to Luffy has been emphasized a lot recently...
