The pacing is totally fine at the moment. Oda usually gets caught up introducing characters and wasting times in areas which don't end up getting their due pay-off. I like to look at it through the lens of a well-paced anime where an episode adapts roughly two chapters. So far, Elbaph would...
I really hope Elbaph will only be about 40-60 chapters long. The fact that people are saying it will surpass Dressrosa in length is ridiculous. Where does this sentiment come from? We don't need 100+ chapter arcs to tell a meaningful or impactful story. Marineford is only 30 chapters long, yet...
No matter what happens, even if the ending was perfect from a storytelling point of view, people would come out to complain about it regardless because everyone has certain expectations for it. You can't please everyone.
I'm going to say it now: The ending will feel rushed for a lot of people...
Now that Loki is freed, has anyone an idea what the trajectory of this arc is going to be? Will the battle with Loki and the Holy Knights result in the destruction of the island? Oda could take this arc in so many different directions, I just don't want it to become overly bloated. I've seen...
While the Viz translation is probably the most accurate, I can't help but think they should do a complete makeover of the manga when the story is eventually completed. The official translation can be very iffy in early parts of the story, and a lot of lines fall completely flat because of it...
Holy, Zorocucks are on full damage control. I could smell the copium from a mile away. But you do have to hand it to them, they are probably bigger Sanji fans than actual Sanji fans, the way he lives rent-free in their heads.

This doesn't need to be said, but it's obvious the crew is full. The last Straw Hat to join the crew will be Vivi. They will reunite eventually.
I'm also glad Carrot and Yamato fans got filtered because they didn't end up joining the crew.

Amazing chapter. There's one thing about the final spread I haven't seen people talk about. I believe that Franky being placed right in front of the mural was deliberate. I don't think it's coincidental Oda gave Franky's helmet horns. It is not unlikely that he is supposed to represent the...
In volume 49, chapter 471, Oda was asked in the SBS if Robin had a change of heart after the events of Enies Lobby because she started referring to the Straw Hats by their names. He replied:
"[...] I'm glad to see that lots of readers picked up on this. In this volume in chapter 475, you'll see...
This is an amazing chapter. One hope I had going into Elbaph was for Oda to convey a sense of scale with the world, objects and characters. He definitely delivered on that part with this chapter. This arc already has a better introduction than Egghead.
Let's see what else Oda can pull off...
Ok. Let me do this again because it bothers me that I got it wrong. I'll do all the Straw Hats' bounties this time around and I'll rank them from lowest to highest.
First bounty:
Chopper: 50 berries
Nami: 16 million
Usopp (Sogeking): 30 million
Luffy: 30 million
Brook: 33 million
Franky: 44...
Holy fuck, I can't believe I missed that. I'm retarded, but thanks for pointing that out. That's what doing an all nighter does to you.

You're right about Robin. Her first bounty was slightly higher than Sanji's first bounty at 79 million.
We don't know if Hancock's 80 million berry...
Does Sanji have the highest first bounty in the series that we currently know of? Let's compare among the Straw Hats:
First bounty:
Luffy: 30 million
Zoro: 60 million
Sanji: 77 million
Jinbe: 76 million (although we can't be certain if that was his first bounty ever)
Second bounty:
Luffy...
