Eh, they are more akin to subplot characters so good that they are equal to the main cast, like Season 1/2 Zuko and Iroh.

Meanwhile, TAC is like Aizen, technically the antagonist but is actually the only reason why shit even happens in the story while King7 is like Ichigo in that he is just kinda there and you would rather it cut back to a more interesting and bad arse character like that dashing rogue Owl Ki 🦉.
