Akainu was definitely portrayed as a hard-headed never-give-up type character in marineford.

And in his own words, going off of when he wiped out O’Hara, he’s willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING to stop pirates. Just kind of by definition, that’s a lot of willpower.

The marines also didn’t start making moves and conquering the new word until Akainu took over.

Plus, that one time he talked back to the Gorosei and called them old fools had me kinda shook ngl.

I think he probably has more willpower than Blackbeard. It’s debatable for Kaido and Big Mom, but he definitely has less than Shanks.

Shanks and Luffy have him beat, and I think he’s equal to BM and Kaido in willpower.

I mean, he did talk back to the Gorosei, and it’s implied the marines never attempted to conquer the new world until Sakazuki became fleet admiral.

If Sengoku had conqueror’s haki, Akainu, who definitely has more willpower, probably has it too.

I hope not, lol. Akainu is the perfect antagonist who cannot be reasoned with. Firm, strong and forcing his ideology on others.

Excluding Luffy, Akainu has the strongest willpower in the series, his willpower far exceeds that of Kaido,Garp,Whitebeard or Shanks.

Hakk literally means willpower.

We can expect the biggest showdown of CoC willpower clash of ALL TIME when PK Luffy and FA Akainu clashes

All the Yonko have greater will power. Dragon has too. Zoro has too. Kaido wanting to "die" is just his wish to find someone who is strong enough to push him to death, because he is just too strong for anyone to manage it. But Kaido too wants to conquer the world and put it into a pirate paradise.
