Nothing changes about Akainu commiting a genocide for fascist rulers, and continuing to serve them to his fullest ability afterwards. He is not some sort of detached marine Captain, or some ignorant chore boy, he is the spear of the WGs oppression and directly answers to their highest authority. He shares many of their views on the rightful rulership of the CDs, the role of the citizenry to obey/pay dues, and the cheapness of human life.

Ngl I don't have a problem with characters like Aramaki being CD cock gobblers but it's the fact that people like Lee will try to deny that he and 2 other Admirals (Kuzan and Kizaru) have habits of defending CDs or just obeying their orders, like bruh it's not bad for them to do that, you don't need to do all these mental gymnastics over something like that
I mean I can get doing them with powerscaling but it doesn't even make sense to do it with the characters' personalities/morals

Trump to me comes off more as someone interested primarily in his personal gain/image and willing to take advantage of fascist under-currents in society than an ardent fascist himself.

But I also don’t like to talk actual politics on worstgen lol
