Character Discussion Anybody else have mixed fellings about Jinbei?

Like, i loved him and anytime he used to show up i'd be hyp as hell but i dont like him as SH, he doesnt belong to the crew, idk how to explain it but he doesnt look SH enough lol
I used to love him but im like " oh jinbei ok " now and nothing else

Give it time. I’ve seen many people who were also iffy about Usopp, Robin, Franky, and Brook joining. Eventually they start to fit in well with the crew. Plus there might be another member after Wano to balance everything out.

His character is out of tune with SH. he joined only for the commitment to Luffy, not for some agreements and dreams. In the first chapter of joining, he could not even fight against disasters. Oda wanted to maintain the two wing pattern, but let a powerful person like Jinbei join. I don't know why. Maybe Oda just wanted to express the desire of human beings to live in harmony with fish man

He's boring. He's fine as an reliable ally but I have no interest in spending extended time with him

He is a new nakama. This is the second arc of him as an officially Strawhat but he also just entered middle arc.

Next arc he will be there since beginning so you will have a better impression of him after some interactions with others from the crew.
