It doesn't help that the main strawhats involved in the gorosei fight are completely unharmed.
Like Sanji, went against 1 seraphim, 1 admiral, and 3 gorosei yet is at 100% health despite getting hit by 4 of those 5.
Same with Franky, guy has no scratches.

How can I feel they are in danger when they are walking out unharmed? The constant gags amongst the strawhats don't help either as it feels like they aren't even serious.
Compare this to escaping Ennies Lobby and it's night and day difference in tension and sense of danger.

Everything about the arc is just a joke
None of the SH till now has received even a minor injury or damages from the results of 5 Gorosei rampaging in a small island

The way they were depicted and the supposed power they got....."the haki is unreal" "awakening Mythical giant beast dwarfing even giants"

On paper they look like a combination of Shanks Kaido Admirals with haki monsters, brute strength and powerful abilities. But in the end they're just incompetent.

If two prime WB were there wrecking havoc, almost all ppl would be lying KOed on the ground by this time.

No this isn't plot, the Gorosei so far aren't overwhelming, that's it. They don't make used of the supposed "monster haki"....... but to knock out den den mushi.

They lack offense and the capabilities to storm several ppl below their strength in quick succession that many top tiers would do.
They're just slow moving giant beast that can easily push back and tagged around. Their immortality is their main power, and SH had no choice but to move out because Gorosei can't do anything but at the same time they're unkillable.

This is why it's an arc about 5 immortal beast who can't be beaten but also can't do a job that makes the arc so fking long without any progression.

Will never happen.I still have some of this debates on NF.And its always the same."OP is peak,FT is shit".Its mostly in the OBD but they stan OP to the max.That was 10 years ago and its still the same.

For the topic,biggest problem is just that EVERYBODY was able to tag and hurt them.And then you have 5 of them.And they barely hurt someone.

I‘ve been telling that too. Loda is a disgrace. If you are an Antagonists in his story you are doomed, BUT the reason why Loda didn‘t gave Kaido awakening is simple, he didn‘t knew how to beat Kaido without awakening, now imagine if he had an AWAKENED form..

The issue was Luffy beating Kaido. If it was a 3v1 with awakened Law, Kidd and Luffy vs awakened Kaido that would‘ve worked

The thing with Oda is he thinks gas long has those people are not doing any damage or very minium damage to those people. He doesn't look at it has downplaying the villian. I think he looks at it has hyping them up actually. Think about how many times they are calling them immortal

1. The Gorosei will be pulling off crazy shitbin the arc they go down just like BM pulled out Bigger Mom, new Zues attacks and combining Homies. Fighting Kaido for 3 days etc...

Yes, explain how nerfed BM was worse than 5 Gorosei and kizaru doing no real damage to SHs ,not beating anyone bar Punks who sacrified themselves
