Just a random fic idea about what Gojo's team has cooked concerning Megumi.
-As stated, Gojo said he wont hesitate to "kill" Megumi (Sukuna actuall), precising that he'll save him after.
-We know that when Sukuna killed Yuji (or the opposite, just a matter of pov), well, he didn't actually killed him as his soul was still somehow alive, and he (Sukuna) used RCT to save/fix Yuji's body.
-Last thing: we're almost 100% sure that Yuji has a souls swap ability and 100% sure that he is a walking cursed object like Sukuna.
So here the idea about the plan (the plan, not what will happen):
-Gojo "kills" Sukuna/Megumi's body, but not their souls.
-Yuji swaps his soul with Megumi's: "in-soul domain" fight round 2 starts between Yuji and Sukuna
-Yuji eventually wins (against a nerfed/weakened Sukuna if you want) thanks to his specific ability, destroying his soul for good.
-Gojo (with help?) use 200% RCT to fix Megumi's body (in wich there is Yuji's soul, while Megumi's in Yuji's body remember)
-By the end, Yuji use his soul swap again and give each other their respective bodies.
This way, Gojo defeats Sukuna on the "physical" battlefield, but Yuji ends him for good on the soul battlefield.
