We've known this. People can't afford to pay Celestial dragon tribute and these are the places the marines are involved in
Or they end up lawless like kidds ends
Yeah heavy taxation and corrupt local leaders leads to bullshit like this.

Im saying that this chapter is likely going to be the catalyst for the revos finally taking center stage. Its no surprise that we see them in this very same chapter this issue was brought up again.

Anyone else is also fed up how dumb the Navy operates ?

Sakazuki as a leader looking like a whole clown. First it's muh no manpower, then after Wano the Navy spawns endless ships and send all to a single battle like it changes anything which results in leaving themselves defensless.

What will they do ?
Encircle Egghead ? Is that supposed to be a threat now ?

Until the real nightmare arrives, things are going to get only uglier for them soon.
?
Yeah Oda's really highlighting the corruption of the WG since we're in the end game and he wants to emphasize how important the Revos will be. CG's influence is essentially adding fuel to the fire since citizens don't really have any other choice. If left unchecked the WG will crumble before the Revos will even need to do anything so I can see a clash coming soon between the two factions, not to mention the Revos are gaining allies too. The Revos and CG have the WG's back against the wall so it'll be interesting to see where this goes
Yeah I feel like even in the world at large, after centuries of oppression, that things are reaching a boiling point. I wouldnt say that the WG would crumble on its own without strong outside influences like the revos and soon Lufy and co. They have the strength and means to keep their populace in check no matter what happens.

I hope Oda doesn't do some retarded "All peace all world freedom".

Either navy retaliation, I doubt that the Navy and WG can let such a slight go away unavenged, or chaos in the forms of war or invading pirates coming to them.

Relatiate how? If they fight back against people that are literally starving to death its not gonna look good lmao.

They are really stuck rn.
I believe Oda straight up wants the current Navy to be seen as bad guys. Remember the fodder that invaded Marco's island like pirates ?

Pretty sure at this point he goes full black and white. Navy = Evil and Revos = Just

With bullets and cannonballs, and the WG has rarely hesitated using propaganda to justify slaughtering entire islands as Ohara and Flevance.
I aint talking about the publics perception, Im talking about the viewers and even then it seems to be common knowledge that the people of that Kingdom are starving and deep in poverty.

If they bomb that place out its over for the WG.

Which is my problem because there are good marines in the navy like Koby, Helmeppo, Garp, Fuji, Sengoku, Tsuru, etc

Why the fuck are they still in the navy when the marines keep doing heinous shit? Its such an annoying thing to see that they dont even have self doubts of questions about serving the navy and the CDs for the most part.

The only ''questioning'' of the WG we had was the warlord system and it was from Fuji and Smoker. They dealt with the symptom but they arent questioning the disease too much.

Its bothering me.
That'd suck, because revos are very rarely truly just or good guys in real life and good stories.
The same can be said about pirates but here we are.

I have seen fans and online users sticking with characters and organisations and races that did worse. Devil's advocates aren't lacked in quantity.
