I aint talking about the publics perception, Im talking about the viewers and even then it seems to be common knowledge that the people of that Kingdom are starving and deep in poverty.

If they bomb that place out its over for the WG.

And I mean, it isn't like the WG hasn't crossed the moral event horizon already with the Buster Call of Ohara and extermination of Flevance.
Speaking of which, Sengoku has never showed much remorse for his participation in Ohara bombing. Yet he's supposed to be a good guy, same for Kuzan.

I agree but with Sword around there's now a clear distinction between who the good and bad Navy members are. Those that stick with them are just bad straight up.

I hope Fuji,Smoker, Sengoku and Tsuru are confirmed sword members then.

But thats not enough. You cant tolerate the kind of evil shit the marines and WG have been doing for centuries if you are a good marine.

I find it interesting how Tsuru was speaking so casually about the thousands of deaths that happen due to starvation in Pepe kingdom. CG may have been the reason that led to T-Bones death but they certainly were not the deciding factor. This chapter truly highlights how citizens accross the world are suffering under the heels of corrupt monarchies and governments that are more concerned about their own well being rather then their citizens, doesnt help that all kingdoms are heavily taxed by the WG and you will have cases of extreme poverty and starvation multiplying. I feel like this is Oda setting us up for more revolutionary relevance from now on as we are approaching the endgame.

T-Bone's death is only the begining imo. Things are about to get nasty.

Leftism is the only correct political ideology, and the Revolutionaries embody that ideology to a T. So yes they will be heavily relevant in the fight against WG tyranny.

Yeah I feel like even in the world at large, after centuries of oppression, that things are reaching a boiling point. I wouldnt say that the WG would crumble on its own without strong outside influences like the revos and soon Lufy and co. They have the strength and means to keep their populace in check no matter what happens.

That's true but I was mainly talking from a morale standpoint that Sengoku was referring to. No matter how strong their forces are, a lack of will to fight and protect will cause massive damage. The WG really care about their image and if citizens start adopting a lawless mentality it'll be nigh impossible to comeback from that

Sakazuki as a leader looking like a whole clown. First it's muh no manpower, then after Wano the Navy spawns endless ships and send all to a single battle like it changes anything which results in leaving themselves defensless.

What will they do ?

For plot purposes he somehow forces the navy to sit back and do nothing
Yet he still announces that the Marines are at their strongest under Sakazuki, so we need to judge his leadership not based on our own interpretation of events but this clear cut statement

Well, if the whole world has to side with Luffy against WG, it's only natural that a world of chaos where the Revolutionaries are all in would be the kinda world we see toward the Final War.

There are Marines like T-Bone who we know isn’t affiliated with Sword yet is one of the kindest characters in the entire series

Garp considers himself a normal marine and wants Aokiji to come back and be a marine

Tsuru and Sengoku aren’t portrayed as “evil” but morally gray and seem to stand outside of the Sword “sphere”

I think it’s still pretty gray at the moment but I could be wrong

The hunger crisis seems to be well known among the high ranking marines yet they failed to protect these citizens from starvation!

I can't recall all the moments I have cringed while reading stuff about Vivi, Rebecca or Shirahoshi crying, the Sabo amnesia stuff, Oden's "sacrifices" for Wano or Nami and Zeus "drama".

And how Marines are guilty in this? People became Marines to protect own families from pirates, who lose mind and go full on burning towns to a ashes, killing people, robing and raping. How Marines are bad?
