How is it that every post-timeskip arc outside of Zou suffers from horrendous pacing issues?

Wano and to a lesser degree WCI were their own beasts entirely, however Egghead despite being way shorter than the former is already rivaling it in this regard.

Why even have editors if all they do is behave like yes-men who don't tell you stop stalling your story?

Oda just doesn't seem to know when to stop and go to the point without complicating the plot anymore, nor to find good excuses to justify a character arriving or escaping at which point.

It's been borderline directionless since post-wano. Hell I even began to question when the Vegapunk speech was midway through if he actually knew what he was going to reveal in the speech, or if he was just writing as he went along. Omitting anything of substance so he can info dump in the endgame.
