Do you mean this one?

- "Staff Officer" is bs, by ship role everyone knows he is navigator and he shares role with Nami.

- "Didn't get hype tooled by Ace" okay but why is that points to he fighting Sanji the regular punching bag and hype tool?

- "Keep members in check", again, why is that points to him vs Sanji?
The one who making sure Usopp rejoined only after he apologized first was Zoro, not Sanji. The one who told Luffy to stop fooling around in PH was Zoro, not Sanji.
So why is Lafitte fighting Sanji because he keeps members in check?

- "Important missions". Not sure why this also points to Lafitte fighting Sanji. Sure Sanji opened Ennies Lobby door and saved Momo. But the one who broke Mother Carmel's photo was Brook, the one who made Dressrosa gladiators change sides was Usopp, the one who burned flag was Usopp, the one saved Luffy in Thriller Bark and tanked Hakai was Zoro, the one who saved Zou was Chopper.
Important moments weren't all given to Sanji within Straw Hats.

- "Initial name as "Silver". Silver Rayleigh was Zoro's counterpart not Sanji. We don't even know Scopper Gaban will counterpart Sanji, he probably resembles Jinbe more because both are helmsman.
So again, why initial name as Silver points to Lafitte fighting Sanji?

Lafitte shares more with Brook than Sanji with their design and weapon. If you don't think so maybe you underestimate Brook and among the one never thinking Brook would be the MVP in WCI, same arc Sanji spent crying like a bitch and kicking Luffy like ungrateful traitor; or overestimate Lafitte so much, or both.
Thanks for linking the post ^^
Not sure how to reply to this tbh:catsweat:
The premise of all those points I made is to highlight Lafitte’s ‘portrayal’ & Oda’s original designs for him to show that he isn’t the run-of-the-mill type character some folks on here make him out to be and in understanding that should be able to see why he’s unlikely to be either Brook or Nami’s opponents.

Again like I’ve already stated in said thread. If you wanna know Sanji’s opponent look at said character’s portrayal & standing in the BB Pirates.

Idk, before the Impel Down recruits, I always got the impression that Burgess is the second strongest, not Lafitte. And he kinda becomes the punching bag so that goes along with Sanji's portrayal.

But then again, Burgess is the helmsman. And if he was really third strongest, it means he can become too much for Sanji the number 4. Both points make him fighting the number 3, Jinbe.
Going portrayal, Sanji should fight Pizarro, the fellow royal family (Corrupt King vs Germa King's son) and fellow hype tool.

Not really much to go off pre-ts tbh as we couldn’t really use bounties to gauge them but there were subtle hints that Lafitte was built different.
Ace fight & his infiltration of Marineford being some of them.

On Burgess, don’t think him getting wrecked by Sabo is that bad tbh. Sabo is the second in command in the revos and is regularly clashing with admirals so there’s no shame in Burgess losing to him except you of course think Burgess is Teach’s No. 2 💀. Moreover that was Burgess prior to consuming the Strong Strong fruit.

I personally hope it happens because Fire vs Ice sounds fun. Personally I always wanted Sanji vs Burguess, but him being a cyborg now probably makes him more of a Franky opponent.
Just my two cents but, strength progression wise, Kuzan doesn’t really make any sense imo. Not only was he an Admiral but a Fleet Admiral Level Character. From a story telling perspective, with the final war in mind, if Sanji’s going into that after beating an Admiral it lowers the stakes of the arc imo. As the implication is that the M3 just walks through all their opponents. Except of course folks think opponents like the Gorosei are that much stronger than the Admirals/Yonko strength wise. Kuzan would make more sense as a Sanji’s opponent during the final war.

See the angle Nik is coming from 😂 but it is not gonna happen 💀. A confrontation will be a clash at best imo. If we talking 2 v 1 with Sanji and some else then fair enuff ^^

Heat of the supernova and the cold of the absolute zero are destined to fight it out.
Every Sanji fight in the show has been a disappointing joke. I seriously doubt the same will be regarding his most important and final fight in the show.
A better opponent for Sanji doesnt exist.
Kuzan fits the bill in so many ways.
When a Zorotard expects more for Sanjino than Sanji fans, it doesnt look good for Sanjibros... :lusalty:
