I think everyone based on the manga would unanimously say no. But with the recent episodes of the anime it's possible that the timing of chapter 1010 is that recognition, which would be frustrating, but that's what Wano is all about, frustration.

Zoro already acknowledged the fact that he can't use Enma in the same way Oden can. So in terms of skill, he is still lacking. Kaido didn't seem to think of Zoro as a worthy challenge. Maybe in the next arc.

Why would he acknowledge zoro as a samurai greater than oden? Zoro isn’t a samurai, his ancestry be damned, the man grew up in East blue.

kaido knows that he isn’t from wano. Being a strong swordsman doesn’t automatically make him a samurai. Kaido knows of mihawk and shanks, swordsmen stronger than oden, he just doesn’t know of any one from wano of that level.

zoro isn’t from wano

Not even EoS Zoro would reach Oden' strength.
And Zoro's 'business' with Kaido ended on the rooftop. Business = his fanservice moment.

This was always about Luffy. Zoro's role was like always beating the n2 of the opposite crew.
It's time for you ppl to understand basic stuff that will always happen in OP.
