General & Others Does Anyone Else Find It Extremely Bizzare That We Never Saw An Interaction Between BM/Kaido And The Other Great Powers?

Isn’t Fuji always using CoO because he’s blind? Imo Oda just hadn’t decided how strong he wanted YCs to be compared to top tiers. He probably didn’t decide to make them a neg diff for top tiers until the start of Wano, which is why Teach’s original bounty was a mere 2.2B before he got a bounty raise for doing nothing
Well Teach got stronger and also Fuji probably doesn't use observation all the time because it would be hard to fall asleep for him if he is using it, that would be like trying to fall asleep with your eyes open since if he is using it he would be seein, right?

Fuji’s COO works when it’s convenient, otherwise he’d know about Imu

Doesn't change the fact yonkos were meant to FVs at one point though. So they are clearly not filler.
They are obviously not filler since they appeared in the manga, but the characters have no importance in the story, that's what I meant. In addition, Blackbeard was also planned early and Oda initially wanted to make him ridiculously strong. In his early concept, he wouldn't be able to feel hot, cold or even pain and his only weakness would be the inability to swim... he would be so powerful that even the admirals wouldn't be able to beat him (in other words, he would probably be the Blackbeard we know with Prime Whitebeard's strength).

BB was the most probable final villain of the series back then and most likely Shanks' rival until Luffy became powerful enough to fight him (the early Yonko would be relevant too, but Kaido and Big Mom weren't among them... it's even possible that Oda decided to go with the Shichibukai, but by Enies Lobby he decided to go back to his Yonko system).

Since the Drum Island Arc, where BB was first mentioned, was released back in 2000, the sketches below might be from the late 90's.

This piece of text (probably an interview with Oda?) has info from differents years (some are literally a decade apart). For example, the Shichibukai's creation happened very early, but, if I'm not mistaken, Oda decided to create the Supernovas after a last-minute editorial advice (namely, when he was already writing the Sabaody arc). It looks more like he let slip a bunch of unplanned things at the same time (doesn't look like an exhaustive list), we can't determine if the Yonko would be the final villains with just this.

Still don’t get how Jack managed to sink half of that Marine fleet when they had Fuji, Sengoku, and Tsuru there
They probably sent out the fodders first, you know the modus operandi of the marines. 😂

Nothing is important and no characters are expect for characters who are relevant at final arc by your logic.

Well, yeah... that's the main topic of this thread (Q.: Why Kaido/BM don't have interactions with the great powers? A.: They are filler characters who have no importance to the story). Blackbeard is an overarching character and is relevant to the main plot; Shanks is an overarching character and is relevant to the main plot; the Gorosei are overarching characters and are relevant to the main plot; WB was like that when he was alive too; Kaido and BM just aren't.

I mean, I have nothing against filler characters/arcs. For example, most Shichibukai (and their respective arcs) are filler too and I like most of them... I'm just addressing the op's question.

You do know a character can be far more irrelevant and can still have more interactions correct?

I don't know what you mean. You say in terms of power/status in his fictional world? If you're referring to this, then I agree with you. Buggy, for example, IS an overarching character and is more important to the story than Kaido/BM, but he's far weaker than them. (Not sure what Oda has in the bag for Buggy, but the story was written as it is. lol)

You might also be referring to Imu (revealed recently, not many interactions so far but seems to be the greatest villain in the world right now), but (s)he has the greatest sovereignty in the One Piece's world and was an overarching villain too (through the Gorosei). Imu fall into the "hidden villain" and the "man behind the man" tropes.
