You're not wrong, but the point is King could still use flight against Zoro.

The argument is Zoro can’t touch King if he’s in the sky but they’re ignoring the fact the opposite is true too. How will King defeat Zoro if he doesn’t come down when attacking ? He can initiate his atttacks from the sky but he’d have to come close to Zoro to touch him anyway.

It'd still be themed heavily around swordsmanship, but air strikes and floating above ground is as far as he'll go against Zoro.

It’s not "for no reason" when flying attacks allow the swordsman to be unpredictable and attack with extreme speed from anywhere.

Zoro doesn't need a better CoO

His main capability is CoA, perhaps he will also develop CoC anytime soon

As long as he can at least manage to tag his opponent, he will be fine

I really think Sanji is more likely to fight King than Zoro is. Zoro is clearly going to be an important part of the Kaido fight. The calamities are significant opponents. King is not getting mid diffed by Zoro as a warm up. Imo it's between Sanji and Marco for the King fight.
