And it looked all the same when there was no COA whatsoever with the only exception being the black shading on their hands. There is literally no way to tell if they're using level-1 COA or Barrier COA or internal destruction in these panels.

Last time I checked, not all black-shading is ADCOA. lmao, I was expecting something better but you're literally trying to sell the idea that all black coating is internal destruction because they all look the same. Once again, It is more than likely BM and Kaido have the barrier armament but not the internal destruction until proven otherwise.

Yes they do. It's implied that you can't use COC to coat your attacks without knowing first how to let your Haki "flow" which is literally what Ryuo is. That's why Luffy had the Hyo FB before using it.

No but the black leaking in Big Mom and the Luffy panel are identical. The punch is also identical. So it counts as an implication at least until it is clarified.
Several top tiers have been implied by Kaido to be able to use internal destruction + adcoc hence why they can fight him. Big Mom should be no different , same for Kaido himself

They're using Basic Ryou + CoC. Luffy is using Internal Destruction Ryou + CoC.



Yeah. He's using Haki blasts + CoC, but it's not the internal destruction CoA.



Because we've already seen basic CoA + CoC

The key word is "clad in". That's what Hyogoro was using and said during flashback. And that's what Luffy want to learn.

The "not touching" obviously needs "barrier".

This they might have barrier haki and are infusing it with conquerors ,but Luffy is using barrier+penetration+conquerors!

That's not the black matter I'm talking about. The one I'm talking about is the one which comes prior to an attack. Both Luffy and Big Mom were emanating the black matter before they attacked.

Also a point to note, Luffy could be using COA there without using hardening but that's not relevant to my point
