And it's only been 3+ months since Dressrosa lmfao.

Yeah, I'm not stoked about seeing them. I expected their return to have more weight or be specila.

Doesn't help they appear in a scene where everyone is trying to suck Shanks' D.

Ya and the fight became more friendly as I said. It wasn't duel until death after SHs came to the island.

So I never expect either of them to die lol

They settled their lifelong grudge offscreen in under 3 months and magically show up in Elbaf. Great writting from Oda.

Well I mean I guess it’s just how we view it, I’m not a Oda angel or anything like he can’t do any wrong, but at the same time for me at least I’m not calling it bad writing until the story itself closes because at any point Oda could cover points that I want covered later on because as we both said it’s his writing style he lays bread crumbs and follows through later.

Shanks is oda's self insert - poster boi.

He hasn't done anything wrong till now- I mean look at this chapter and how much fanboyism was going on for Shanks.

He even gave warning to Kidd lol

He even went out of way to stop ace.

Really don't see Shanks as a villain because in this case oda would have to twist a lot of narrative which will mess things more than we already have

He will meet luffy for sure.


But when - no one has any clue.

Oda has to resolve Shanks, Mihawk, BB and Admirals and Dragon and it won't be easy because they all have different stakes as of now so how their path will converge with ShS is up in the air

I am fine with Shanks dying after meeting Luffy :pepehawk:
There's no need for him then.
I think Mihawk will be the last fight in the story though

I think we will have another 300 chapters minimum for all of this

Oda took 6 years to resolve BM and Kaido



Shanks, Mihawk, BB , Dragon, WG, Admirals have more importance than Kaido and BM and were introduced earlier as well.


Oda is taking battle royale route but still it will take time to resolve such hyped characters.

6-8 years for me. We are in one piece till 2030 lol
