I interprete it as a visualisation of the damage Zoro is taking from the drug.
Chopper was talking about the side effects a chapter ago.
There is no Grim Reaper in One Piece.
I aint believing Zoro is dead. Not even for a second until Oda tells us literally that Zoro has died.
You sure there's no Grim Reaper?

Zoro did talk about one and the odds it was not just a legend or metaphor are there 🧐

Maybe Oda does it. I dont wanna talk too certain unless Oda proves me wrong. 🀐
But GR's existence would mean serious implications on the series and if Zoro returns from death.
We would expect every character to be return from death right after they die. It would be bad for the entire story.

Well other than what i said in the previous post look at Zoro's posture when he defeated King, GR pose and the pose when he was falling.
He was sleeping face down when he defeated King and when he fall but when he is against GR this is his pose.

When his voice disappeared.

When his voice returned after 800 years.

Headcanon.
Voice disappearing means defeated not that you died

Zunesha never said he's sensing Joyboy's voice

If Joyboy was a person why Kaido thought he could be Joyboy or that someone could become Joyboy ?
