Future Events Elbaf is an Akainu arc

the more i think about it the more insane the marines would be to send anybody to that island.

Just one ship was able to almost neg an entire fleet. If Akainu is as reasonable as Sengoku he would stay away from Elbaf.

But Oda could still make it happen I suppose
Yeah there is no way Akainu or the Gorosei are going to pull up on Elbaf, they aren't stupid to do that.

Elbaf isn't affiliated with the World Government and they know that the country is the strongest in the world because of their army.

The fleet at Egghead was bigger than that of a buster call, and yet only one ship of giants was able to destroy many of those ships from the fleet.

Again that's only one ship of giants, now imagine dealing with an army of giants.

Even if the Marines could still win, it's just not worth attacking Elbaf, and they have no purpose to even go there.

They were mentioned in the SBS
:o wait where lol?

@Sir Yasheen Okay I see it here from Pew:

"CP9 got their jobs back and their promotion by defeating Level 6 prisoners plus underworld players"

However whats weird is that bounty hunter at Dressrosa talked about these escapees as if they were somewhere else at large, and this was after Lucci and crew got promoted to CP0.

Oda.... oh well one less mystery to worry about I guess...

SBS 109 mentioned that

It really doesn’t. I think this means Oda was going to use them but not anymore
Yep, based on this translation, it sounds like it was originally a planned arc and he decided to remove them and an Underworld plot from the story:

"Oda : Ok, because of the translation, the Japanese got weird, so I just put the message as is. Firstly, let's talk abou the CP9, who were defeated at Enies Lobby. They CP9 members appeared in the Cover Story Series - CP9's Independent Report, in which they were blamed by their chief, Spandam, with the "Sin of Mission Failure", in which they decided to vanish somewhere else.

That's how their training to get stronger started. On the other hand, for some reason, due to the authority of Spandine, Spandam's father, he got promoted as Chief of CP0! From here, Lucci and the others uncovered the "Invasion Crime" plot that the underworld bigshot and former Level 6 prisoners were scheming with Spandine and crushed those organizations to prevent it.

After that Incident, Lucci and the others were reinstated as agents of CP0. Spandine is on his sickbed and lost all his authority, and Spandam became Lucci's underling."

I wouldnt mind Oda drawing this one day lol. What a shame

I think that’s because of Cross Guild. The underworld has now just been combined with them as a supporting group

When Revos or Kuma attacked where was Kong? First Aramaki and Fujitora were sent to protect MJ, but when they failed Akainu went personally to stop Kuma, The Admirals have always acted as the body guards of MJ, that’s why Marine Ford is positioned next to MJ and why Kizaru shows up when Charlos is attacked and went with Saturn as his body guard

Where was Sakazuki?
Aramaki and Fujitora were never sent to protect MJ, they were just there
The head of the CDs military is the Holy knights, the marines are a different group entirely
