So not only is he wearing Drake Knight’s armor, he has a draconic helmet and his eyes seem to be dragon’s eyes as well.

Noticing some foils between he and Miquella already.

Miquella rebelled from the Erdtree and from the Outer Gods, Messmer seems like an extreme loyalist.

Miquella wanted to transcend his childish body into an adult form, and it’s possible Messmer as a Dragon Communer will also transcend his body into draconic form

Miquella viewed sleep as like a healing-esque ritual, but Messmer seems like he’s using the shadow realm to prepare for war

Idk. Here I am already impatient lmfao, and I had been so patient for this DLC so far…

Also another detail: Messmer seems bitter that Marika would’ve chosen the Tarnished for Elden Lord over himself, which could be seen as an indication that Messmer could have became Elden Lord but was rejected by Marika.

So this guy is (potentially) an Elden Lord level threat, a Demigod child of Marika and Radagon, an Emperean, AND a Dragon-Communer. Lol

Bro FROM wasn’t fucking around here. I think GRRM definitely helped with this character from the way he foils Godwyn and Miquella @TheKnightOfTheSea

Also blatant inspiration from Vlad the Impaler, also known as Vlad Dracula or Vlad the Dragon. Was rumored to cry tears of blood and anticipate in blood communions. Religious, and was very cruel with his punishments, most of which involving impaling.

I beat Elden Ring 4 times in 4th playthrough I decided to do it without ash spirit summons and grind up to level 200 for dlc , I reached 150 level and beat everyone except Malenia which I postponed to play other games. This weekend I will start grinding to level 200 , try beating Malenia and be ready for dlc .
