Yeah so the DLC is just Mountaintops of the Giants and beyond when it comes to scaling and issues. Everything is tanky and can 2 shot you, and bosses are designed around summons. Without summons they are tedious and annoying. With summons they can become trivial.

The funniest part was that I was TERRIFIED of Rellana. I've never seen her once but I heard how annoying and difficult she was from everyone online. Found her talisman and recognized her from the trailer. Then she dies in 2 tries

Heads up for NPC fights: giant hunt ash of war cheeses the hell outta them. Just spam it and they never role for an endless loop 😂 Ancient Dragon-Men were no hits and Moonthryrill got flung over a wall.

Funny enough, I didn't use a single colossal. Just claymore, banished knight greatsword, omen cleavers, and the lance. Royal knight resolve, giant hunt and dual greatsword jump attacks does a ton of poise damage.
