Yeah a strength build while fun at times can be very cheesy, at the same time can put you at a disadvantage against fast bosses
But for the most part hyperarmor and stuns give you a different perception to how strong a boss actually is

Radahn for example was a tougher fight on dex build, first time I fought him took two tries which made him feel underwhelming despite the festival hype.
I'm alternating between the Nox sword for combat and Misericorde for crits, Bloodhound fang occasionally
Far more enjoyable than unga bunga rusted anchor lol. 2nd playthrough is where the gold is at

Try the ball weapons. Iron balls and star fist are like some of the best weapons in the game.

Waterfowl Dance is the real boss fight

Case and point to why Malenia is not very good, she is a luck based boss, your ability to beat her is determined pretty much only by your ability to bait and avoid Waterfowl

Use ice pots, it freezes her attack

Yup, my only experience with Souls games came from 2009. It’s a little hard at first and you might want to look up non spoiler guides but it’s a fantastic game

Not exactly no, will drive you mad
You spend half your time playing this game on wiki and youtube trying to find out where you should go
Skyrim is the go to, run some graphics mods and you’re good to go

if you wanna play a souls game or souls like game, you will have to learn the basic stuff regardless of whichever game it is. So might as well learn it from the latest game.

Depends on what limiters you want to set on yourself.

With summons, this is the easiest souls game given that you take the time to optimize your build, without summons, it's probably third hardest after its own DLC and Sekiro.

Elden Piss one of the worst boss fights in history oh my lord
Godfrey phase 1 I liked, phase 2 pure autism. Beat him 2nd try

This game is dogshit, ds3 clears in everything (still haven't done dlc)

I like Radagon as an individual boss. My favorite boss in the base game. Elden Beast is extremely over hated, I would say Elden Beast >>>> Maliketh

See you didn’t fight these bosses with the launch weapons we got. LOL

I fought Maliketh with pre-buffed Starscourge Greatswords. They’ve since received multiple buffs but at the time, it was rough as hell.

I still think the Beast Clergyman is dogshit. Maliketh himself is nice but fighting the Beast Clergyman every time ruins Maliketh.
