don't see what says Zoro can't surpass some of Luffy's parallels? Zoro forging a black blade is a much if not more of a parallel than Luffy saving Wano, both of those feats were part of Ryuma's various legends.
Zoro hasn’t surpassed Oden to this day. And he’s likely not going to be anywhere near Loki
Forging black blades is no longer Ryuma’s best feat. In Wano, Forging a black blade is presented as a feat not even Oden achieved. So now Zoro forging a black blade is more an indicator that he surpassed Oden than reached Ryuma level
At this moment, Ryuma’s big feat is the entire Fighting off the world government. This was statement that was made all the way back in like 2018 when we readers had no idea how much of a feat that statement was. No one cared back then since we didn’t know Imu existed or the Gorosei could fight or the holy knights. That statement didn’t even register as a feat in 2018.
now it’s utterly ridiculous. The notion that one man can stop the entire WG from entering Wano and then even after Ryuma’s death, the feat that there could be anyone as strong as Ryuma in Wano STILL kept the WG from entering. Like you have to remember that hundreds of years passed without the Government even attempting to go back to Wano simply because they didn’t know whether another Ryuma level guy was there so they couldn’t even risk trying.
this is beyond ridiculous. This beyond Roger or Rocks or Any Yonko or Mihawk. That’s why at the end of Wano Oda started comparing Ryuma to Joyboy. And then in Egghead Oda directly demonstrates that a Joyboy level character can in fact STOMP the Gorosei 1v5. So Ryuma’s feat is in fact directly comparable to Joyboy.
I cannot for the life of me ever imagine Zoro anywhere close to this. The only way of making Zoro comparable to Ryuma is to make Ryuma MUCH LESS impressive than he is being implied to be. As in Oda would have to directly show that Ryuma didn’t actually fight anyone strong and he’s not anywhere near Joyboy for EoS Zoro to comparable
